How long does it take to make an orthotic or prosthetic?
- Foot orthotic/SMOs/AFOs/Knee brace – 3-4 weeks
- Plagio helmet – 2 weeks
- Scoli brace – 3 weeks
- WHO/Upper extremity brace – 3-4 weeks
- Upper or lower limb prosthetic – 4-6 weeks
- KAFO – 2-3 months (more complex device, 1-4 diagnostic fits, follow-ups). It’s a 3 month process that you are very much involved in to ensure that this complex device fits and functions well for you
