Anna Kruithof, B.Sc., C.O.(c)
Anna is a Canadian Certified Orthotist, graduating with distinction from the Prosthetics and Orthotics program at BCIT where she received the Mabel and Arnet Pentland First Year Achievement award. Prior to certification, she completed her residency at Hodgson Orthopedic Group, and holds a bachelor of science in Psychology from the University of Victoria.
Anna has developed a particular fondness for pediatric orthotic care and loves to make orthotics fun, while still achieving the goals of the family and multidisciplinary healthcare team. She also works closely with the physiotherapists at The ScoliClinic to provide comprehensive, evidence-based orthotic treatment and education for patients with scoliosis. Anna is passionate about connecting with her patients through positive interactions and enjoys working through the complex challenges that arise in this unique field.
Growing up in sunny Tsawwassen and living on Vancouver Island has instilled in Anna a love of the ocean and all things West Coast. Whether it’s kayaking, canoeing, swimming, or beachcombing, you’ll find her by the sea. She has also built a large fruit and vegetable garden that keeps her hands busy and her stomach full all year long.
