Loren Schubert, M.Sc, C.P.(c)

Loren has been practicing as a Canadian Certified Prosthetist since 2012. He earned a Master of Rehabilitation Sciences at McMasters University and a Bachelor of Human Kinetics at UBC.

At Hodgson Orthopedic Group, Loren strives to provide excellent, individualized care to each of his patients. By taking a patient-centered approach and incorporating the best research evidence, Loren is able to provide a custom treatment plan, focused on empowering patients to meet their personal goals. He has a keen eye for detail and is passionate about educating patients and their families throughout the treatment process. Loren enjoys helping patients with less common presentations, including Upper Extremity and Pediatrics and he has significant experience in these areas. Loren also brings valuable knowledge and skills from his previous work as a kinesiologist, personal trainer, and athletic trainer.

In addition to his work at Hodgson Orthopedic Group, Loren is the program head at the BCIT Prosthetics and Orthotics Program and the lead prosthetics instructor, where he educates and mentors students entering the field and helps shape the future of the profession. Loren strives to give back to the profession by volunteering as a lecturer at national conferences, local colleges, and universities and sits on the Orthotics Prosthetics Canada board of directors. In his spare time, Loren enjoys working out, biking, running with his dog, and spending time with his family, including his wife and two daughters.
