Cranial Remoulding Orthoses for Flat Head Syndrome

The Success Factors: Early Intervention and Custom Design

Current evidence clearly shows that treatment success is heavily influenced by early intervention (ideally starting between 4 and 6 months of age) and consistent wear.

  2. Custom Fabrication: The custom high-temperature thermoplastic cranial remoulding helmets are meticulously fabricated in our clinics.
  3. Adjustability: We design our helmets with an inner foam liner that allows for ongoing modifications throughout your baby’s treatment journey, ensuring a single helmet is usually all that is required.
  4. Protocol: On average, helmet wear ranges from 3 to 6 months, 23 hours/day, with minor variations depending on your baby’s age and severity.
