Externally Powered (Myoelectric)
These advanced limbs interpret residual muscle signals (Myoelectric signals) to control the movement of the hand, wrist, and elbow. We can provide sophisticated myoelectric limbs that interpret muscle signals to make hand and finger movements, offering a highly intuitive level of control.
Body-Powered
These use cables and harnesses connected to the residual limb and opposing shoulder/back to operate the terminal device (hook or hand), offering a durable and reliable solution.
Passive/Aesthetic
These are designed primarily for balance, stabilization, and appearance. We are able to provide custom silicone that meticulously matches the aesthetics of human skin for a highly realistic and natural look
Who is an Ideal Candidate?
Adult upper limb prosthetics are suitable for individuals with an acquired amputation (due to trauma or illness) or a congenital limb difference seeking to enhance their quality of life.
