Carl Ganzert, M.Sc. C.O.(c)
Carl is a Canadian certified Orthotist. With a M.Sc. in McMaster University’s Rehabilitation Science program, He strives to meld research guided practice and artisan clinical techniques. Carl has a passion for scoliosis bracing and the further development of scoliosis treatment concepts. He also specializes in collaborative protocols for Upper Motor Neuron complexities in conjunction with the New West Rehab Neuro physiatrist group.
As the acting director of the Hodgson group’s research division. Carl is involved in coordinating student based and independent research. He is the co-founder and research director of the LA Technique for scoliosis brace treatment. Carl is a co-chair in the Canadian Advances in Neuro-Orthopedics for Spasticity Congress (CANOSC) congress series; an international effort focused on the development and progression of collaborative techniques for complex patient management.
Born and raised in Coquitlam, Carl has a deep connection with nature and has embraced rock climbing as a physical and mental pursuit. He is fascinated by the realm of philosophy and enjoys writing as a creative outlet.
