Nicole Pigura-Smith

Nicole started at Hodgson Orthopedic Group as a Prosthetic/Orthopedic Administrative and Development (A&D) Assistant Co-op Student, and is now Hodgson Orthopedic Group’s Funding Coordinator. She is currently in one of her last semesters at SFU’s Bachelor of Science program in the Health Sciences faculty, with a focus on the Life Sciences. She is also completing a Minor in Education focusing on Learning and Developmental Disabilities. As a Funding Guide, Nicole is interested in learning about how to best utilize extended health benefits, alongside studying alternative funding sources for patients.

Outside of Hodgson and in her spare time, Nicole enjoys walking along White Rock’s promenade with her family and finding a good book to read. She has also volunteered her time as a reading mentor and tutor for elementary-aged children requiring additional academic and English as a second language support.
